A targeted drug delivery system is based on a technique that continuously administers predetermined dosage of therapeutic agent to sick location the body. The goal raise relative amount treatment in target tissues while lowering it non-target tissues. This technique's intrinsic benefit has been reduced dose and adverse effects. Drug targeting brain one most challenging issues pharmaceutical research because blood-brain barrier acts as an impermeable for systemically delivered therapeutics extracellular matrix contributes poor distribution locally drugs. In various Central nervous (CNS) diseases, general approaches can improve are great interest. Drugs less harmful more effective when they administered close where would be effective. Extreme studies have recently concentrated development fresh strategies successfully delivering medications response shortcomings traditional mechanism. study thoroughly explains obstacles involved brain-targeted delivery, process transfer through Blood Brain Barrier, different techniques some recent breakthroughs delivery.
